Taking a bit longer to read than expected. Writing is gorgeous. The author paints such vivid pictures with her words. But there are a lot of flowering passages describing a world that is still largely a mystery and not much development of the story or characters. Liking it. Just would like to have been further along in the plot by the midpoint.
