I think I've just reached that point where everything goes to shit exactly 100 pages before the end

I can't stop crying, at this point, I feel like every time I pick up this book, it's going to make me cry

It's very difficult for me to see the bright side of life while reading this book, it depresses me so much, but at the same time I feel so captivated by the story

It's consuming me a lot; whenever I'm not reading, I'm thinking about the story and the characters😭

I think it's the most brutal book I've read so far this year.

Since I'm studying WWI, I had the idea that the aftermath of the Great War was devastating for men, but not taking care of your daughters? I think this story is making me understand much more the things those people went through.
