it doesn't help that I read the first one like a year ago but this is still so good, I'm just trying to remind myself of the basics of Oldenburg's evil (he's really fucking evil) and the arcanic and magickal things that are going on.

I’ve forgotten how real all of this feels; the characters reckoning with themselves and the state of all of the arcane matters. They hate, they love, they rage, they banter.
Also: the LORE. Thank you Richard Swan for giving me a play by play right at the beginning so I remember what the fuck is going on lol.
