I’m rereading this book. I couldn’t remember how I acquired it, and as I opened it today there is an inscription for me from my ex-boyfriend. So that’s where it came from. It was one of my stocking stuffers the holiday season of 2020-2021. He broke up with me after my birthday that February, though, so that’s why I didn’t finish it, I bet. Wildly ironic present to receive from him; mean sensibilities.
