The only solace I have is that Matilda can come and go as she pleases from the wasteland to wherever she wishes. UGH MY HEART. The typewriters are her magic. The magic of a herald. Beautiful full circle moment. I hope Ross writes of Enva and Dacre. I need to know more of them. Theyre enigmatic which serves them well enough, I suppose. But im greedy. Ugh.

Ugh I hate Warin. Fuck that guy. Adria being more important than one initially would think doesnt surprise me at all. I hope Matilda uses her stars wisely.

God this book is such a tragedy because we know in the end, all these gods are dead or gone. It’s just a matter of when they become dead and gone.

OH SHIT I DIDNT THINK WE’D SEE THE FIRST ENVA PLAYED AT DACRES COURT. Granted, Matilda comes in the aftermath, but still… So cool.

Phelyra’s got balls, approaching Matilda after the stunt she pulled. I wonder what Bade and Adria’s fates were? Dead probably but Matilda said she’d know. But perhaps that is only a childish hope.
