I started Circe completely in love with Madeline Miller's writing and with Circe herself. The first half captivated me, but once Odysseus appeared, I felt the story focused too much on him and Telegonus. Because of that, I'm finding it harder to keep reading. I miss the quieter, more introspective moments centered on Circe. Even so, Miller's prose is absolutely beautiful.
