Don’t get me wrong, I don’t like Haruki either. She comes off as spiteful and poisonous. But Maki is acting like a stalker. Yeah, so she didn’t know this was where they were going initially, but once she did know, she should have left. If someone isn’t happy to see you, take the hint and stop chasing them. Shit like this teaches that it’s OK to violate someone’s consent if you mean well - and it’s not.

“He’s just my friend.” Girl, no. He’s not your friend. He doesn’t even like you. But you’re going to force yourself on him until he decides you’re OK, I can see where this is going. I’m tempted to give up on this already, except I’m reading it for a MAL challenge and if I give up I have to find something else.

I don’t think I like this girl. He’s grumpy and rude, but he’s been perfectly clear that she’s invading his privacy and he doesn’t like it, and she’s like, “heh heh, I can’t help it 😇”. Bullshit. It’s totally OK for someone to not want to share things with you.
