ENDING WAS CRAZY character development so good i was wholeheartedly ready for smut LMFAOO but oh WOW no i’m so gagged, genuinely blown away!! will say that i DO believe the ending was fitting, and i am do curious how freaken epic the plot is gonna turn with book 2!! GUESS WE ARE ABOUT TO FIND OUT!!

watching sylvia slowly fall apart to her guilt and morality ESPECIALLY with her past coming back?? DELICIOUS!! she IS growing to be jasad’s heir! and arin HEHEHE i see why now this book primarily benefits from first pov of sylvia, otherwise we’d see arin REALLY crumble down for her and NOT the crumbs that sylvia offers us thru her pov..but oh BOYYY!! and i did infact tear up

oh its amping UP holy hell so much new development AND I LOWKEY CALLED THAT TWIST!! CALLED IT!! and the sinful tease of arin and sylvia Only to reel us back to their original goals…sneaky and cruel….the political intrigue is doing its thing and im so freaken hooked!!! put that man on his knees sylvia!!!!

doing my best to savor…i am beginning to see their dynamic blossom.. and sefa and marek my freaken goats!! loving the political intrigue!! it feels nice to escape my anxiety for another :)

damn DAMN!! even drunk he’s still clocking her, it almost makes me infuriated for sylvia LMAO she hasn’t had Enough of a fair share of overpowering him she deserves more!! yeah idk how the hell they’re gonna develop, but god their dynamic is so freaken fun!! and the dialogue can be so funny sometimes, + sylvia’s hard headedness MUAH i love my stubborn female leads!!!

sefa and malek oh my god!! adel and then fairel :( genuinely shocked me but not arin mogging the hell out of sylvia LMAOO highkey digging the genre of character from the "last royal "fleeing from the Execution of their kingdom, and sylvia (or essiya) is no exception to how interesting her character is!! and her PAST oh my days!! super into the development... curious about how tf arin and sylvia are gonna devleop LMAO

starting a book at night will always be the doom of me…but interesting so far!! it seems quite Character driven with nice hints of worldbuilding peakin in… very nice.. and im quite intrigued with sylvia since she’s Very clearly a runaway jasad who’s lyin to the found family….
