I must be passed where I DNF'ed this the first time, because I don't remember this funeral scene....and hot damn...Mike Flannagan must have taken inspo for this for his version of haunting of hill house (which to me is clearly "shining" inspired as well)

I don't know why I keep trying King's work when the only one I've really liked is "The Shining." This one is so boring to me. Maybe if I didn't already know (vaguely) where this is going it would be more exciting. So far it seems pretty similar the original movie (which I haven't seen in yearrrsss).
