The last wish thoughts: first book in the series and it’s a very rocky start, quite unfocused and very messy storytelling, some clearly written before others as the better stories like the last wish and the elves in the mountain story were far superior to pretty much everything else. The pseudo anthology style is a bit confusing but pays off in some aspect of just prefer it to have more focus.
