I love insane people gotta be my favourite kind of person

I can't even express how good this book is. The symbolism is impeccable; ignoring the Jesus metaphor, I love the way the Emperor and Hadrian are opposites, therefore considered to be equal (a hint that Hadrian will have as much power as the emperor one day?). I have more but it won't fit... ughhh

Hadrian is my favorite genocidal maniac. I love watching him be told by his girlfriend who he is, and letting himself believe it. When she dies he's gonna go nuclear. Yk. Like stars. Or a sun. Bye Gododdin

Forgive me for indulging in the comforts of Hadrian Marlowe's showmanship, and the intrigue woven by Christopher Ruocchio. Marlowe is a character to take refuge in. Hide in the crooks of his brain and forget your own stupidity and powerlessness for a moment.

this is supposed to be the best one in the series so I have lots of hope
