I'm 5 minutes into this book and already I'm annoyed. It is nothing but telling. There is no showing. It's like so much exposition. I've gotten zero emotion from this character. He started all the way back when he was 5 years old and has told me his whole life story and why he picked the school and how big the town is. It's ridiculously boring already
