Should I continue? I like the subject matter, hunter-gatherers, and the attempt to capture their worldview, but it's not very good. The mindset feels artificial. It's a modern American dressing up like a Native American. The narration isn't very good. I keep losing track of the characters and plotlines. The writing reminds me of the Dungeons & Dragons novels of my youth.

Already wondering about this one. The subject is interesting but the writing is overworked - too many adjectives & too much telling without showing. Even the mindset & worldview seems derived from cowboy and Indian movies. Who says the first arrivals to North America would have 19th century NA worldview? The entire story is previewed in a dream. Technically accurate but amateurish.
