the concept of niki st bore just referencing people and places and pretending as if she did any groundwork to explain what they are or like the audience is already familiar

this book is moving at lightning speed not allowing any time for anything to be processed or for you to even breathe and be able to follow the plot and yet… it’s dull as fuck.

60 pages in and we get het sex with winnie and vane no one asks for and now wendy and roc with no build up even though the reason this series was interesting was due to the roc and james relationship and now we’re meant to pretend like wendy matters….

when you come for some gayness between roc & hook and you are hit with the extremely dull sequel of the never king. literally who asked for winne and pan to be in this series??? especially when there’s gonna be a 5th never king book even though the fae princes was meant to be the last
