Okay, I know I'm not anywhere near finished this book but I love it so much. Few biographies are as readable and informative. I love how the author seamlessly ties the biography element of this book with a reflection of not only the world at the time, but also how our modern views may not be appropriate when considering his actions and contextualises them (particularly his views on women)
