Attempting to embrace Leto II with open arms as the one I knew and loved from Children of Dune (that last chapter in CoD was weird as fuck though) has been.. difficult. I know that living for over 3.5k years can really take its toll on someone, but wow. I am grateful that Paul himself didn’t take this path. The poem about Ghanima was very sweet, though.
