Listened to “Why I Am Not a Pacifist” and was disappointed by some of his reasoning, which is rare with Lewis—felt like he was relying on ad populum and strawman arguments. The first two-thirds of the argument are made on a secular level, and only toward the end does he bring Christianity into the conversation—he appeals first to the nation, then the church, THEN the words of Christ.
