XI—Anne has her cute puffed sleeves on the cover, so I wonder if/when she’ll get them in the book

X—that went much better than I thought it would

IX—I see why Anne was so upset, but reacting like that is definitely going to cause her issues in the future 😔 I just wanna give her a hug, poor girl

VIII—Anne’s childhood really was quite bleak, I can’t wait for her to make a real friend

IV—I’m coming to like Matthew, though I do hope he actually TELLS Anne that he wants her around sooner rather than later
I see that Marilla is kinda starting to come around but she sure is taking her time :/ she’s kinda mean :(

I’ll be honest I’m not super loving Marilla

I’m kind of dreading next chapter with Marilla😔😔

I’m quite enjoying the book so far after chapter one! It felt like a fun outsider POV to introduce us to the Cuthberts. I already can’t help but feel bad for Anne—and she hasn’t even gotten there yet!
