as a chinese myself, can't say i agree with the thoughts on gatecrashing. and why are we talking this way about western weddings... this could have been a good moment to educate isabelle and readers who aren't familiar with gatecrash but this doesn't feel so. plus, as of late gatecrashing feels torturous more than traditionally symbolic (imo).
