supporting characters: Naruto has many supporting characters. My favorite supporting characters is Kakashi. He has a very important rule as team sevens leader and he supports all the characters in a big way either in battle or their personal life. He is one big mystery that begins to unravel as the story goes on.

Antagonist: The antagonist of this book is sasuke. He was a former team seven member but went rogue to achieve power to kill his brother. He acts as a polo opposite of Naruto, the main character. Naruto and other ninjas from the village are pursuing him to take him back to the hidden leaf village.

Conflict: The type of conflict in Naruto constantly changes. The conflict right now in this point of the story is character vs self. Naruto had just lost his best friend to a greed for power and failed to retrieve him back to the village. Naruto now has to get stronger to be able to get his friend Sasuke back. I can tell this is character vs self because he has to detach from Sasuke and only worry about himself.
