The star of this book has had a lot of gun fighting, so when I read, “the scream cut short by a paralyzing blow to her throat” I thought my girl was dead! Like a gunshot to the neck is surely fatal. 20 pages later, we find her and she’s not dead yet. Y’all, she got HIT in the throat. Not SHOT in the throat 😅
