I tried not to judge this book based on how much I enjoyed DCC or expect it to be the same but I must admit I missed the humor. Objectively the writing is better but it did feel oppressively long without as much humor. I get the cautionary tale of capitalism and AI and felt it was good work but just not my favorite. Clearly I am a Princess Donut fan through and through.
