Thank you for the recommendation! I think I can finally go back and read Jurassic Park [the science speak stopped me from reading it years ago]. This author definitely showed his talent of mixing science with horror and folklore.

this is generally how my reading goes...every time I see this listed on my profile it reminds I have to get back to it... I made a little romance detour lol but I would like to finish this and ideally read the entire trilogy!

I’m glad you like it! It’s definitely hard to get into his writing style but it’s fascinating once you do. The final book in the trilogy was excellent and I was impressed with the ending
