Just had my first DNF of the year: ‘Maeve Fly’ by CJ Leede. It’s so boring that I was forcing myself to read. There are too many other books waiting for me!
Most of the time, I like to go into a book blind, so I don’t have any preconceived expectations, but I read some reviews on this one, and someone said if ‘Pick Me Girl’ were a book, it would be this. That stuck in my head, and I couldn’t shake it.
