After FOREVER I’m done. I’m sure it wasn’t as terrible as I’m making it out but it was a long journey and I’m sorry but it felt plotless. Maybe it’s bc I read so little of it over a long period of time but it felt not only pretty plotless but also not too different from the 1st book bc wasn’t someone also after Felix in that book? It’s getting repetitive for sure. I’ll continue on but ya. 2.5 stars

Pretty boring for the most part and their relationship went zero to a hundred. One second Xave is “stalking” Damon and the next they’re secretly hooking up wordlessly pretty much and the next second they have strong feelings for each other and are exclusively together and Damon is part of the whole group? Like they don’t even know each other so their relationship is very unconvincing. Forced plot too

Def an intriguing start with the being kidnapped together and all but now like three chapters of nothing have gone by and there has been zero interaction between them since they got to the hotel after escaping lol so hopefully it picks up bc it was def a vibe to begin with but I’m still hopeful for sure
