I was right about my suspicions for the kid. But I’m not really enjoying where I think there might be a love story in this? This book gives me weird vibes for the first 100 pages & I almost DNF’d.

I’m struggling to get past how weird this book is. I’m inclined to believe Artemis is an alien but there’s too much weird happening. Why is a 10 year old girl with a 40 year old man? I’m intrigued enough to continue since this was recommended to me but I’m just not sure if this is going to make me feel gross or not.
