I can’t believe I’m still listening to this ridiculous story but gosh darn it if this man isn’t a big old cinnamon roll for her and I’m down for it. I guess the OW earlier in the book was technically when they were friends, and she was/is still mourning the death of her sweet boyfriend. I just don’t get the monster appeal though. Not for me, I try to put his animal life form out of my mind.

This book is way too long. It’s technically only 363 pages in Kindle (yes, I’m immersive reading. What’s wrong with me?), but like 19 hours on audio! Monster smut doesn’t need this much investment.

Audiobook for sleeping. I know this is ridiculous - monster trope I guess? But was kinda enjoying it until Dain (MmC) got his feelings a bit hurt and went and had sex with another woman. They aren’t even together but I hate OW and OM drama. And worse? Leah (FMC) doesn’t seem to care much because they barely know each other even though soulmates. If that continues, I will DNF this.
