The Bible includes books that are written in many different genres, such as poetry, apocalyptic literature, and wisdom literature. Additionally, within the books of the Bible are different types of literature. 1 Corinthians includes quotes, exhortations, and commands, and it’s also rich with theology. These genre types are at times all mixed together in a book or passage and at other times there are clear divides.
