Mixed feelings about this one. Almost the end of Unauthorized Bread, and the premise is interesting but the writing style feels a little half baked and the author seems to be holding our hands through some of the exposition. Salima is established repeatedly as a bookkeeper and then towards then end, he says “Salima was careful with money, careful like a bookkeeper.” Gee I wonder where she got that from.
