It took me a minute to get on board with the writer's style. This book was one long run-on sentence with the occasional comma thrown in. Although I love punctuation and grammar, I found that the style really worked for this particular story. It kept the reader engaged in chapter after chapter. The author used beautiful, poetic words to describe the most horrific events. I just don't know how to describe the story.
