I forget that Fitz isn’t like actually stupid, he’s a man. A stubborn man. So his man’s world and views are full of prejudice and privilege that stop him from seeing the bigger picture. It stops him from seeing all possibilities and especially to accept those possibilities. It’s too bad he didn’t learn from the last time this happened.
