it’s interesting to me that emmy’s parents and marion’s father willingly came to england, knowing that it’s been ruled by a tyrannical queen LOL. like why would you do thatttt

emmett is probably going to be the love interest because he’s the witty, sarcastic, “playboy” archetype, but i honestly really like bram. i like him a tad bit more than emmett actually, and honestly, i don’t like rakish dudes. it’s giving ick!! but he’s nice enough so i’ll let it slide (for now). i also kind of think he was really rude to faith! but faith is also annoying me too, so idk how to feel LOL.

oh i didnt expect other povs!! thats cute. i kind of hope we dont get neither emmett nor bram’s pov though, i think it’d be better if their thoughts were kept unrevealed (at least for now)z

it’s kind of throwing me off how this book takes place in england but you can so obviously tell it was written by an american because the writing and character dialogue is not giving british english at all. i’m still enjoying it though, don’t get me wrong.
