This part feels like a fairytale. The magical ones that don’t quite end so grim after all.

Lydia just redeemed herself for me. No matter her faults, she is still Ivy’s sister, and sisterhood is stronger than jealousy.
Bram is such a spoiled brat though. What a baby. He’s one of the worst, most aggravating characters I’ve ever read.

YUCK! I was actually starting to feel bad for Bram that he doesn’t know what love should feel like but then he says he’s been following Ivy since she was a kid? That’s so predatory and creepy. And then what he did with the glamour? This guy is the worst! What a disgusting creep.
I’m glad that the time jump thing was just a dream though, but that part was super weird and confusing when it happened.

Perhaps I was too quick to judge Rhion. I actually quite like him. He better not betray us for real this time.
Also that alternate time dream thingy that happened to Ivy was so strange. I thought she had been teleported to the future or something and I was soooo confused.

I can’t stand Lydia! She is so selfish and naive and all she does is enable Bram.
And Bram enrages me so much. The spoiled brat needs a firm talking to and a whack on the head. His idea of “fun” is making me so mad. I can’t stand either of them, so I hope they’ll be happy together in their narcissistic little fantasies.

Rhion….you backstabbing utter piece of dirt. I knew not to trust you. genuinely HOW can the turn of events change so much in one single chapter. I genuinely thought Ivy was dreaming and kept waiting for her to wake up.
This book is getting so intense. I should probably take a break from it and go to bed before I crash out from rage. Very hard to put down though, I will say that.

EWWW Emmett and Lydia call each other Lyd and Em now? Cause they’ve just been bestest pals while Ivy has been through hell in England?
I don’t like it. Two years? Seriously? This is wrong. This is all wrong. Somebody please strangle Bram to death before I throw this book in outrage
