reading a book from the pov of a man in love is so interesting. it’s speculated that this is an autobiographical story about the author in his younger years so that makes this even more fascinating.

i’m taking a break to put my feet in the pool and procrastinate finishing this book. if i stop now maybe i can pretend they end up happily together

we finally got to peer into his journal; the story dating back 15 years. seeing his thoughts and emotions written out on paper is so beautiful, considering he appears emotionless and uncaring. peering into his mind is so special.

just getting to the good stuff. the character being observed reminds me of my friend who deems it unnecessary to speak or reflect on his thoughts or feelings. so far we’ve seen him find a confidant.
