I don't know how I keep forgetting plot points immediately after reading them, but it keeps happening with this book. Even though the descriptions of the world around us are incredible! I love venturing closer and closer to the underworld. We are about to be in Secrets, and then finally Soul. Miche isn't my favorite character in the world, but I do adore Asar. Luce is also the best.

The Serpent and the Wings of Night was my FAVORITE book of last year, so I am ecstatic to be back in this world. Now that we are following Miche, I am keeping my expectations at a reasonable level since she wasn't a beloved character to me personally. So far, so good. Carissa Broadbent is quickly becoming an auto-buy author for me.
