She takes a few more turns, the route an ingrained path for her, until finally, she pulls up in front of a building.
Her building.
“Not that I’m complaining, but I thought you said you were taking me home?”
“I am. I just didn’t say when.”
She passes off her keys to the valet, and heads to the main entrance of the building, expecting me to follow.
And like a fucking dog, I do.

That was evident shortly after our last season ended when Miller gave birth to her and Kai’s daughter,Emmy.Reese came with me to the hospital to meet the newest addition to the family and when my daughter told me that her daughter was named after me...yeah, I was a fucking mess in the best way possible. I vividly remember looking over at Reese, who rarely gets emotional, to find her crying along with me.
