I trust Gabriel more than King Atlas... and I'm getting annoyed with her naivete considering that that's not how her character was set up in the beginning. I get hoping and wishing for success and a better life but to ignore all the red flags?

I'm having a trust issue... and wondering why fmc is not having the same trust issue...
MMC chapters are interesting and I actually like him a lot. Waiting to see if he also becomes a romantic interest... which would be interesting given they haven't met yet

FMC is growing on me. Curious about the second POV. Based on where the story is going I don't know if he's the MMC or will be in next book. Weird and interesting

So far don't love the fmc but probably because she's hard after a hard life... 12 years in prison with your siblings for the crime of existing... yes, I'd be hard too....
