i’m starting to get a little drained from the constant conversation with himself and us, how he is complaining about the very sentence he is writing or complaining that he didn’t get to mention something and now it’s too late and he must skip past the whole thing entirely. i like the book don’t get me wrong but something needs to change a little now

I like it thus far, we’ll see how the next half goes! Brautigan is so cleaver and funny throughout. I look forward to see what happens next.
