This book is the definition of a SLOOOOW burn and honestly? It’s driving me insane in the best way possible. Every look, every touch, every almost moment has so much tension behind it that I’m practically begging them to just give in already. The chemistry is there, the buildup is there, and the anticipation is absolutely killing me. But somehow the waiting makes every little moment between them hit even harder.

I’m super confused right now. It feels like there are a lot of cut scenes that don’t fully flow together, which makes parts of the story hard to follow. Even with that, I’m still interested and can see the potential this book has. The story is good, but I wish the transitions and pacing were a little smoother.

This book is a little all over the place and there are SO many unanswered questions right now, but somehow I’m still completely hooked. Every time I think I understand what’s going on, something else happens that leaves me confused all over again.
The tension and mystery are definitely keeping me invested though because now I need answers.
