I’m HTRLLAP he talks about how the act of eating together is a form of communion. Showing trust and unity, etc. where I was in the book CW and MR were eating a meal MR made for them. And then in the next part SM was hungry and hadn’t eaten anything in a while. MR bought him like 10 meat buns but he didn’t make him the food nor did he actually sit down to eat with him. Back to back shows the difference in their actual relationships, and CW is in chibi form so it’s also showing his true emotions/actions without having to put on this peerless Shizun mask.
