Experimental in format and as a queer love story. Perhaps the only instance where run-on sentences and missing periods enhanced the novel in my opinion. (Idk what’s up with the “run on sentence, no punctuation” trend among major literary prize winners since 2020. It’s killing my brain as it often reads/feels like slop videos).

Overall, important queer context to explore and lovely as a literary read.
