Of 719: I completely missed this the first time I read this book, where the guy who bought the star is refusing to take the Oath , because he says they might be better than us , and in that case my allegiance will not be to the human race because I have no good memories of childhood, no happiness, and this guy wasn't sexually abused as a kid so how much more alienated will many other people be from the human race?
