This is going slowly, but in a good way. Like, I'm processing. I'm not stalling.
The book picks up when Zarya gets out of Ishaan. At the beginning, it's mostly crime and lawlessness, which I didn't mind that much, having read crime and thrillers in my youth, but it felt a bit out of place in a Fantasy, js.

Nisha has definitely added new words to her writing, and the vocabulary in this book is good too.
