Women are complacent in affairs. NO "girls-girl" situation, because everyone is out for themselves and protecting their benefits. It's very visible in the professional athlete world. Women want to protect the power that they are attached to and often don't care about other women's feelings as much as they care about their reputation. In the context of affairs, most fall in line and obey the rules that suppress THEM.

Peer pressure influences sexual cultures. Some people might not even want to do what they see being normalized, but partake in behaviors, because they don't want to be left out. Many cultures have history permitting concubines and external partners for MEN. So many people are unwilling to surrender what they feel benefits them and 'honors' their traditions.

There's a caution and precision the author uses when describing some communities compared to others. There's an empathy and understanding given that appears to be selective. As I continue reading this book, it seems like most cultures blame women for the faults of men and then remedy their issues with younger women and more naive women. It also seems like many people are NEVER satisfied and looking for options.

So they have a training and coaching for wives. Encouraging them to be more closer and affectionate to their husband's. Some of this seems obvious, but it is showing them how to desire and offer closeness. This poses the question, should people be educated about this...
