I find it utterly frustrating when a publisher rejects me on NetGalley given that I have a 96% feedback ration, have written nearly 200 reviews, and post them on my blog, here on GR, as well as via all of my social media channels, and I get the generic message I should improve my profile. Really? How?

It bothers me too , Larry . My feedback ratio is 89. I have written 227 reviews for NetGalley books and 86 for Edelweiss and I get rejected. I don't have a blog and never get approved by Knopf and very rarely by Little Brown. I try not to let it bother me since I have a bunch waiting on my kindle.
Maybe it's because they aren't allowed to give out more than a number of copies or maybe theyre only supposed to give them out to readers in a specific region?
See this confuses me because I have a 43% ratio and I get sent copies of stuff to the UK when the publishers "may not be allowed to". Maybe it comes down to the actual content in your bio?

Tried a few times, nothing.

I do think they may be looking for certain demographics sometimes.
