I’m in love with this book. Its premise is simple, yet the story is so complex. I love Edmond Dantès, but the Count fascinates me. He’s cold, calculating, and almost heartless. The discussions on justice, death, and revenge are incredible, and the Count always feels one step ahead. Like any classic, there are definitely moments that make me go “WTF?” 😭
