There was this period in my life where I remember serialized fiction getting posted to proto-Internet message boards and BBSes and then to early Internet era shared blogs and things and it was free-form and weird and good in ways that are difficult to describe now because it would just feel like I was being patronizing to the era’s young amateurs but like I said it was GOOD and this reminds me of that.
