A wonderful book looking at the author’s life and her difficult relationship with her mother. Arundhati’s experiences make one’s 70s upbringing with its benign neglect pale in comparison.
Arundhati’s ornery-ness and her fight for justice in spite of discomfort are her mother’s true legacy. The Indian legal system and politics are spotlighted. A great read!
