Mid-read mood: Super into this for book club. The history lesson parts about the Primordials, etc., are probably important but are also boring. Other than that, I like it. It’s exceedingly well written with some gruesomely descriptive parts that managed to turn my stomach. Well done, there. It reads like The Hunger Games and The Games Gods Play fan-fiction. Love!
