Unsure how to feel about this. The found family is cute, but I’m finding the relationship entirely unconvincing. And Beth is seriously getting on my nerves… why can’t this girl just SAY WHAT SHES THINKING!!!! It’s like the miscommunication trope in microdoses. Even if it gets resolved a few pages later, if she just said the thing it wouldn’t be an issue!! Also the male narrator makes her sound so petulant

New audiobook and tbh I’m not loving. Which is SO sad because this author is local to me and the absolute sweetest. It just is feeling shallow, and Beth is kind of pissing me off…
